As the wife to Apostle Long, Elder Joanne Long has been laboring in the ministry for over 40 years. Loved greatly by those she serves by her grace and gentleness, Elder Long is known for the passion and power in which she serves the Lord. First Lady Long was appointed to the office of an Elder in 2007 and has been leading the way for the women of Scripture Cathedral by her leadership and example.

Elder Long, takes great joy in sharing the gospel through her great wisdom and personal experience. However, nothing gives her joy quite like the time spent with her grandchildren; Robert McKissick, Promise Long, Jaelyn and Skyler Moses.
